Major jam auto feed embassy elite lf900 motor runs paper does not move
Check for Overload:
Ensure that you haven't exceeded the shredder's maximum capacity. Overloading the shredder can lead to jams.
Feed the paper in a steady and consistent manner, avoiding sudden force or crumpled sheets.
Switch to Reverse Mode:
If a jam occurs, switch the shredder to reverse mode. This will help dislodge any stuck paper.
Gently remove the jammed paper from the feed slot.
Inspect the Feeding Entry:
Make sure the feeding entry of the shredder is not blocked or jammed.
If there's any debris or paper stuck, carefully remove it.
Check the Cutting Blades and Gears:
The gears driving the cutting blades may be stripped or worn out.
If you suspect this, consider contacting technical support for assistance.
Kenmore elite touchpad not working
If the touchpad on your Kenmore Elite refrigerator is not working, there could be several reasons why. Some possible causes include:
- Dirty touchpad: Make sure that the touchpad is clean and free of any debris or spills.
- Power supply: Make sure that the refrigerator is plugged in and that the outlet is providing power.
- Control board: The touchpad may not be working if the control board is damaged or malfunctioning.
- Control lock function: Make sure the control lock function is not engaged.
- Software issue: It could be a software issue, update the software of the fridge to the latest version.
It's worth trying these solutions one by one and check if the touchpad starts to work. If the problem persists, it would be best to contact the manufacturer's technical support for further assistance. They may have more specific troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue.
Elite SL3000UL stopped working after a thunder storm. The unit has power but no led's are lit.
It is worth checking if there is a fuse inside the Elite SL3000UL. If there is, the unit may have been damaged by a lightning strike or a power surge. If there is no fuse, it could still be a control board failure, a surge suppressor failure, or another related issue. To investigate further, you will need to consult the manufacturer or contact a certified electrician for help.

Above is your manual, this has much information.
From what you describe, I would think "Sensor" or "Drive" for the sensor. IF there was a Short, I don't really think, it would actually go? What you need to do, is use the manual and perform the troubleshooting steps, and check all sensors switches, etc. If the windings are shorted, then accordingly the "Drive" too, well, that would most likely be destroyed.. if it is so, you will need to check that too.and replace it.
The outgoing gate has a positive stop on it, but
Well it seems that their could be a limit switch problem. also if someone has replaced the limit switch they could have not connected the wires back up correctly. if your wiring and switch are correct than you have a bad circuit board. my opinion is to not even fix it and replace the whole opener with a gto-pto gp sl50 They are the most reliable opener out so far and come with all the features that elite charges extra for like a battery backup for instance.
