Epson Artisan 800 ADF jams
There are two gears that are made of plastic that have hard rubber toothed sprockets pressed on them. These sprockets split and allow the drive motor to slip. Epson will only sell the motor assembly and not just the gear. I used a dot of supperglue to repair the sprockets and all works fine now.

Hello, Your printer makes a "grinding sound". This is usually due to two things:
1. A dirty printhead rail. It is either ink residue or dry. Try gently cleaning it with some water.

If you have unable to fix it please contact me at 1800-204-4427. I can help you out.
Good luck!!
