You can test it by removing the turntable and put a plate on the base with a pound of butter on it. Microwave on full power for a minute. Notice the holes?

Yes you can as long as your home uses LPG. You can not use 2 regulators. If your outside line is after your home regulator you need to eliminate the regulator on your grill. LPG products operate on 11" of water column, that's about 1/2" PSI.
