The result of cool water temperatures and milder detergents, is a buildup of oil and grease in the machine, which produces oily smells in the laundry. Grease and oil can take many forms, ranging from automotive lubricants to greasy foods to oily toiletry items, and, over a period of time, these oils can accumulate and become trapped in various parts of the machine, particularly in the door seal of front-loading machines. Run an empty cycle with HOT water and a detergent that contains bleach to remove grease and oil from the appliance. However, be sure to use bleach designed specifically for laundry, as opposed to using regular bleach. ie OxyClean. and or a cup of vinegar. Best to you.

The cost of the control panel will depend on the model. Usually these cost $200-300. However, the LOC often indicates a control panel lock is enabled. Try looking at the control panel for a button with a padlock symbol in a small font on or below the button or a pair of buttons connected by a line below the buttons with the padlock symbol in the line. You have a blockage in pump or an item of clothing between drum and pump if water cant get out or is slowed the spin speed wont rise

I would check the water pump for partial blockages, as if all the water is not expelled it wont go on higher spin level, try blowing hard into the water outlet pipe to see if the pipe way is clear enough to let all the water out eric

buzzing sounds are a frequency buzz from a problem solenoid or start/run capacitor failing it could be the water inlet control for the rinse in the spin cycle call a technician for a proper diagnosis

"pause" isn't something you can reset exactly I'm afraid. Pause means that the washer door was opened mid cycle so all you should need to do is shut the door to restart the cycle. Unfortunately if it doesn't re-start, it means that your door latch assembly has failed and isn't sensing that the door is shut. You'll need to order and replace the door latch assembly to fix the issue. It's actually a fairly easy part to replace if you're handy. You'll need to unplug the washer and open the door to start with. Then there is a wire ring around the front lip of the rubber door gasket. Use a flat head screwdriver/needle nose pliers and pry the wire ring off. From there you can pull the gasket back out of the way. Remove the screws going into the door latch from the front and reach behind to replace the door latch assembly. Make SURE the door strike on the door isn't broken too. that's only a 6$ or so item. First, have someone put the washer up in the air, level, and have someone look underneath it whilst it is running , to see if there is a hole in the plastic piping or the exiting hose. The reason I say so its that I have been in the appliance repair business for too many years to count, and I never, (up until now), heard of "routing it out" I would wonder it that job managed to rupture something. Also remember the exit pipe must always have a " U " bend that is higher than the back of the washing machine to retain the water in the drum. God bless your efforts.

frigidaire has problems with their computer boards and it sounds like this is your problem,i've seen them shut down and then after a while start beeping on it's own just like your machine is doing and it was the board part 137006000

you may have set it to hold spin.

Don't ever replace a mother board unless you are sure it is bad. They are expensive & may not be the problem. Always check everything else first . Sounds like you may have a bad connection. Check all connectors make sure the are getting a good connection.Hope this helps you

there is a bearing at the back of the drum that gets dry and sometimes the ball part wears down causing the noise you are hearing i would check that first

There could be several reasons why your Frigidaire washer will not agitate, including problems with the power supply, the wash cycle or the way in which the appliance was loaded. It is a good idea to try to resolve the problem with your washer yourself first since unnecessary repair call-outs can potentially be expensive if your appliance is outside its warranty period. Troubleshooting your Frigidaire washing machine will take about 15 minutes. Confirm the water shutoff valves are open. If your Frigidaire washer cannot draw water from the pipes, it will not fill or agitate. The shutoff valves are usually located behind the washing machine where the water pipes meet the wall. Allow the washing machine to cool down for 30 minutes. Frigidaire appliances automatically shut off if the motor starts to overheat. The cool-down period lasts for half an hour if the appliance has not been switched off manually. Verify that the detergent draw is tightly closed. If the dispenser is left open, the washer will not start or agitate its load. Push the draw so it sits flush with the front of the washing machine. Ensure that the washing machine door is closed. As with the detergent door, the appliance will not start if the door is left slightly open, to prevent water from spilling onto the floor. Push the door closed until it clicks, and try your load again. Confirm that your Frigidaire dryer is set to a spin cycle. if all the cycles are working when you move the timer to that function then the timer is not advancing, Replace the timer.
