Our Frigidaire Front load washer FWTR445RF50,

it won't spin unless the water is drained out.a bad door switch could cause this and is the easiest part to change, and if it's buzzing and it's coming from the switch i'd say you have a bad door switch, also on these machines they had problems with the door hinge the door would sag down and when you go to close it it would hit the bottom of the switch instead of the strike going in the middle of the switch and crack or break the switch,if you think your door is doing this, replace the door switch and when you go to close the door lift up on it when closing so it closes better.one more thing it's not draining so if the door switch doesn't totally fix it check the drain pump and the hose that goes from the tub to pump,it might have a coin catch in it that can get clogged stopping the pump from draining or a bad pump but i would change out the door switch first it could fix your problem before you start getting into the pump, much easier to replace and i've changed a few door switches on these washers, good luck.the door switch part number is 131763256.go here put your model number in go to where it says wash cab,top look at part number 8 this is your door lock,it gives a different number but for some reason sears hasn't updated the site with the newest numbers but the number i gave you is the newest number for the part https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/FWTR445RFS0/1428/0153200.html?searchType=modelSearch&q=FWTR445RF50&searchTerm=FWTR445RF50

Frigidaire Washer Won't Agitate or Start.

There could be several reasons why your Frigidaire washer will not agitate, including problems with the power supply, the wash cycle or the way in which the appliance was loaded.
It is a good idea to try to resolve the problem with your washer yourself first since unnecessary repair call-outs can potentially be expensive if your appliance is outside its warranty period. Troubleshooting your Frigidaire washing machine will take about 15 minutes. Confirm that the washer is still plugged in. Over time, vibration from spin cycles can work the power cable loose. Push the plug firmly into the outlet and try your load again.
Check your household fuses or breakers. Replace any blown fuses or tripped breakers to see if power is restored to your washing machine. Do not increase the fuse capacity during changing. Contact an electrician if you are unsure about fuses and breakers. Confirm the water shutoff valves are open. If your Frigidaire washer cannot draw water from the pipes, it will not fill or agitate. The shutoff valves are usually located behind the washing machine where the water pipes meet the wall. Allow the washing machine to cool down for 30 minutes. Frigidaire appliances automatically shut off if the motor starts to overheat. The cool-down period lasts for half an hour if the appliance has not been switched off manually. Verify that the detergent draw is tightly closed. If the dispenser is left open, the washer will not start or agitate its load. Push the draw so it sits flush with the front of the washing machine. Ensure that the washing machine door is closed. As with the detergent door, the appliance will not start if the door is left slightly open, to prevent water from spilling onto the floor. Push the door closed until it clicks, and try your load again. Confirm that your Frigidaire dryer is set to a spin cycle. If your dryer is set to a soak cycle or is currently in the soak portion of a longer cycle, it will not spin or agitate the wash. Make sure the appliance is set to a spin load and try again. Contact Frigidaire if problems continue. You may be entitled to free service if your washing machine is within its warranty period. See Resources for Frigidaire's contact information.

Hello, I have just purchased

Probably an auto tec installed the recepticle on the wall or in the electric pannel. in home electric the black wire and the red wires are hot. In automobiles the black is ground. You should have 240 volts between the two flat connectors on the plug when its pluged into the recepticle.

Frigidaire frontload FTF2140ES3 33 month old,

If the bearing is bad it will likely do one of three things, it can sound like a jet is taking off when your washer is spinning, the rear bearing seal can start leaking, or if it is really bad there will be slop between the basket and tub. Open the door and spin the basket, does it sound like the bearing has gravel in it? Lift on the basket if it has slop between the basket and tub this will for sure cause the banging you are talking about. To verify the leak you will have to pull the rear cover off of the machine and look for grease or water trails running down the rear of the tub. Often times the grease or water will get on the pulley or belt and fling it around the rear of the washer. Hope this helps.
