Frigidaire F L washer GLTF2940FS2,replaced motherboard, lock unit, door strike, still cuts on and off, sometimes will spin,Keep getting J code

Don't ever replace a mother board unless you are sure it is bad. They are expensive & may not be the problem. Always check everything else first . Sounds like you may have a bad connection. Check all connectors make sure the are getting a good connection.Hope this helps you

What is causing the loud buzzing sound during spin ctcle on my Frigidaire Affinity Series 6000 front load washer ?

buzzing sounds are a frequency buzz from a problem solenoid or start/run capacitor failing it could be the water inlet control for the rinse in the spin cycle call a technician for a proper diagnosis

Lock won't release on washer

Sometimes if you unplug it from the wall outlet for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and let it go through a fresh startup cycle then it refreshes and resets itself and may unlock switch.

Spin cycle not working

you will need to unplug the machine and take off the back panel and look for a small 5mm pipe leading upwards, take it off and blow gently into it you should hear a click and another one when you let the air out again if so then the small pipe where you took it from is blocked preventing the switch to work properly , unblock the pipe with a pipe cleaner or metal rod its normally full of soap goo return the pipe and close the back up and run the machine again eric

Code J on frigidaire front load washer. Does that mean the mother board needs replacing?

I would check the water pump for partial blockages, as if all the water is not expelled it wont go on higher spin level, try blowing hard into the water outlet pipe to see if the pipe way is clear enough to let all the water out eric

Our Frigidaire Front load washer FWTR445RF50,

it won't spin unless the water is drained out.a bad door switch could cause this and is the easiest part to change, and if it's buzzing and it's coming from the switch i'd say you have a bad door switch, also on these machines they had problems with the door hinge the door would sag down and when you go to close it it would hit the bottom of the switch instead of the strike going in the middle of the switch and crack or break the switch,if you think your door is doing this, replace the door switch and when you go to close the door lift up on it when closing so it closes better.one more thing it's not draining so if the door switch doesn't totally fix it check the drain pump and the hose that goes from the tub to pump,it might have a coin catch in it that can get clogged stopping the pump from draining or a bad pump but i would change out the door switch first it could fix your problem before you start getting into the pump, much easier to replace and i've changed a few door switches on these washers, good luck.the door switch part number is 131763256.go here put your model number in go to where it says wash cab,top look at part number 8 this is your door lock,it gives a different number but for some reason sears hasn't updated the site with the newest numbers but the number i gave you is the newest number for the part https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model-number/FWTR445RFS0/1428/0153200.html?searchType=modelSearch&q=FWTR445RF50&searchTerm=FWTR445RF50
