Lock won't release on washer
Sometimes if you unplug it from the wall outlet for 5 minutes, then plug it back in and let it go through a fresh startup cycle then it refreshes and resets itself and may unlock switch.

Spin cycle not working
you will need to unplug the machine and take off the back panel and look for a small 5mm pipe leading upwards, take it off and blow gently into it you should hear a click and another one when you let the air out again if so then the small pipe where you took it from is blocked preventing the switch to work properly , unblock the pipe with a pipe cleaner or metal rod its normally full of soap goo return the pipe and close the back up and run the machine again eric

Our Frigidaire Front load washer FWTR445RF50,
it won't spin unless the water is drained out.a bad door switch could cause this and is the easiest part to change, and if it's buzzing and it's coming from the switch i'd say you have a bad door switch, also on these machines they had problems with the door hinge the door would sag down and when you go to close it it would hit the bottom of the switch instead of the strike going in the middle of the switch and crack or break the switch,if you think your door is doing this, replace the door switch and when you go to close the door lift up on it when closing so it closes better.one more thing it's not draining so if the door switch doesn't totally fix it check the drain pump and the hose that goes from the tub to pump,it might have a coin catch in it that can get clogged stopping the pump from draining or a bad pump but i would change out the door switch first it could fix your problem before you start getting into the pump, much easier to replace and i've changed a few door switches on these washers, good luck.the door switch part number is 131763256.go here put your model number in go to where it says wash cab,top look at part number 8 this is your door lock,it gives a different number but for some reason sears hasn't updated the site with the newest numbers but the number i gave you is the newest number for the part

I put in a small load, started the washer , and
there is a water level sensor that you set by the water level required for the wash
when that level is reached it turns off the inlet solenoid and progress to wash cycle
you problem is a faulty inlet water solenoid /control or water level sensor
call in a technician to check the small hose to the level sensor or the flow control valves
