Hello there, the controller seldom gets spoilt because all it does is to regulate the quantity of power which is supplied to the fan. The fan has a capacitor which regulates the quantity of power which the fan receives to determine the speed. I f the fan begins to move at a specific speed even when the regulator or controller is turned then it is an indicator that the capacitor is getting bad and therefore requires replacement.
Once you replace the capacitor the fan should function fine.

Most 3 speed switches are interchangeable and any good brand should work depending if they are rated sufficiently for fan,. The electronic ones are usually the best for replacement as they are not a bulky as the reactor types used on earlier model fans.

Try Lowes or Home Depot. If the globe is not available the fixture can be replaced.

Most likely by removing attaching hardware from the motor housing and allowing it to rest atop the fan blade brackets

Check your door switch that's the most common problem.
remove two screws that hold lint trap to lid, pop up the top and place a jumper across the switch to bypass it. If dryer starts, replace switch. Typical cost $10-15.

Yes you can operate them with two styles of remotes: either the remote wall switch, or a hand held remote. Both require the receiver to be mounted above the top of the fan in the base it is wired to. The receiver has wires on both sides; the one side wires directly to the house wires, and the other goes to the fan and light. They are both sold at Home Depot and Lowes. The ones at Home Depot also include the set made by the fan manufacturer.

That question cannot be answered as stated. What direction is backwards and what is the pitch of the blades.

The theory now mostly dis-proven is you pull the hot air off the cealing in the winter to help warm the home. The opposit is valid in the summer. The amount of energy used is normally more then what is saved in the AC bill.

My fan does not have a reverse switch for sure so I scoured the net and got no real answer. I did come accross a comment that said that it worked internally at the remote box in ceiling. Here is how I finally figured it out after about 6 months of searching. Put the fan on high, Turn wall switch OFF, Hold the HI button on remote, Turn switch back on. IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sparq

mcdevito75 here, Hopefully your ceiling fan will go where there has been an already light fixture, if so, that light fixture shoud be mounted to the ceiling beam, and your new fan will be mounted the same way. If by chance your new ceiling fan is being mounted where nothing was ever mounted you"ll have to make sure the ceiling fan will mount to a beam, they are every 16 inches apart. This way you:"ll know that vibration from the fan won"t hurt anything.
