I can't send an email out
Are you having issues with a web based email or outlook? Do you have issues while sending mails with attachments alone? If it is a problem with attachments, you need to contact your email service provider and tell to increase your file attachment size limit as this would be the reason in majority of the issues. If using Outlook try deleting the account by going to control panel and clicking email account and deleting your account and creating it again using the same way. Also check your antivirus firewall settings. If you need online technical support, you may very well contact TheBestPcDoctor. Wifi not working in windows 7
Good ole Windows 7, just a tad bit better than Vista. I would never get rid of my Windows XP Operating System to be on either of those unstable operating systems. OK, so are you near the wireless router, if not go near it and then try to connect. If you don't see it as one of your available wireless networks, then you have to make sure that the Wireless Switch is turned on. If you are sure it is turned on, then there are also keystrokes that turn the wireless on and off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key will have the wireless icon on it such as )))) or it might be a tower with ))) around it. Normally when you toggle the wireless by keystrokes your screen will display something like Wireless On or Wireless Off.If you still have problems download and reinstall the wireless drivers.Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HPSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Wireless drivers.
My hp mini tower will not restart
Your power supply is probably bad. Try plugging in directly to the wall and try it. If you have a meter, you can open it up and turn it on. Check the voltage on one of the unused plugs coming out of the power supply, the box in the back with the a/c receptacle on it. Find a plug with a yellow, 2 black and a red wire. Yellow/Black should be 12v, Red/Black should be 5v. Normally people lose the 12v (get only 8v) so the motherboard comes on but not the HDD. If your prw supply tests OK remove any cards you have and try turing it on with no cards. If it powers on, add the cards back one at a time until it won't power on and that card is bad. Normally this would be a modem card that connects to a phone line. If the pwr supply test bad, take some pictures of the inside with your phone and remove the power supply (4 screws on the back) and disconnect all the cables that go to it. Check the label for watt ratings and a part number or take the whole P/S to a computer store where they will be $45. Make sure the one you buy has the same type connectors, same or more watts and screw holes in the same place (ask for help). Or you maybe able to order online using the HP part number ($80) or from eBay. Replace the power supply, plug everything back in and turn on. Really pretty easy.
HP short beep long beep
Your computer runs a self test when you turn it on. Its part of the BIOS - Basic Input Output System. One short and one long followed by the system not starting for HP/Compaq is memory error. This could be caused by incorrect memory being added, memory being taken out and returned to the wrong slot, incorrect insertion, dirt/dust balls or bad memory. If you just messed with it take it out and wipe the contacts with a big eraser or paper towel with rubbing alcohol. Vacuum out or blow out the dust. Look for bent pins on the connectors. Reinsert, paying attention to the keys (spaces which allow it to go in only one direction).
