Now THIS is strange! I hunted HOOVER and got this: "Your search for "hoover ultracare hc6" resulted in no products." and "Your search for "hoover ultracare hc6 150m" resulted in no products."? Even a GOOGLE SEARCH had no real hits for: hoover ultracare hc6 replacement parts ...had ZERO results... well actually there were some hits but no actual "part sellers" and the DO want to make money!

Ahaaaa... BALANCE your loads... true for Life too! Also know some springs "age" and don't provide the "RESISTANCE" needed to keep your drum in place... so they may LOOK PERFECTLY GOOD, but are actually tired from constant stress. Do your best to use SPRINGS DESIGNED for your washer! YOU failed to include your model number so I can't be more specific than this. Anthony

Dogs inside of spinner are worn out. Remove top of spinner and see dogs on the inside. Easy fix.

Use gentle cycle.

Restricted air flow...either vent or wheel that moves the air. Try taking hose off of where it goes outside and just let it run like that and see if clothes dry faster. If so you need vent cleaned.

Have you checked the filter ?

one of two causes machine is not level,or the solenoid little rubber tube is off or split this is found under the control panel

Check tap turned on fully, kinked fill hose, filter in fill valve where hose screws on to machine.

Hey there. The 600MB agitator is held on by a 10mm bolt only.Not sure about the plastic part that you are describing. All you need to do is pull the stem out (the big bit with the filter on the bottom), then unscrew the bolt from the top with a 10mm socket and ratchet (with nice long extensions), and lift the agitator off (it may need a little force as they often get stuck over the years). Install the new bit in reverse order, and dont need to go overboard tightening the bolt as it can snap..

Check your mounts and support springs---one of them maybe broke or loose---since you haven't described the noise this is the best i can come up with. GL

Sounds Like the friction on the belt.If the drum got stuck the motor & belt keep turning plus the drum may of been pulled to an off set angle distorting the alinement's of the belt to the wheel that turns the drum.

That is a tricky question. At times the manufacturer knows they have a bad board and will have a alternate board available like when people like yourself have trouble.
