Is your washer plugged into a groundfault receptacle if it is and the ground fault receptacle is tripping you need to use less soap in your washing machine or change the receptacle to a non ground fault like a regular 120 V receptacle. the suds are coming down the side of the washer inside and getting some of the electronics Damp and that is tripping out the ground fault receptacle.

Twisting together and electrical tape is not a safe fix with 110 volts and water around. You need crimp connectors and heat shrink sleeving.

I have the same problem with my Hotpoint WMD 962P. However they seem to have changed some other things to make it easier to maintain without taking the front paneloff e.g. there is no clamp on the inner door seal so you can just leverage the spring off.

there must be something wrong with the computer board, I would try getting some one else to have a look at it,if its triping the braker on the fuse board it must be the washing machine

possible didnt drain and caught in cycle or bad timer

I have a hotpoint washing machine if I start the machine the water it's working after filling up the water the basket doesn't spin

there r 2 ways to get the door open 1)use a normal knife and place in front of the door handle push it in and it should open 2)pull the plug out take the lid off now place your hand down to where the catch goes into the washer using your fingers u should be able to pop it open with a bit off fiddling

That sounds like an overheating problem. When the machine pauses, the blower fan stops running and that allows the heat to build up enough to trip the high level thermostat. You can test this by running a cool cycle. Drive belts don't squeak because they are made of rubber. Things that do squeak are rear drum bearing, front bearings or drum slides, idler pulley wheels or the tension springs. The machine needs a full strip down, cleaning, de-fluffing and lubrication. F02 indicates that the motor tacho has broken or become detached, this is to be found on the end of the motor shaft.
