replace remote and receiver. receiver is located in fan ceiling box

You cannot do this because the remote has a connection for reversing the direction of the blades. Hunter does not post the schematic for their fans. There is a common, low, medium, high and possibly the light and the reverse direction. IF you do manage to connect it, you will lose a lot of functionality.

look on amazon they have them

notify hunter for assistance or take the numbers off motor and match one up online or electrical shop

look up where hunter products are sold or online catalog for different lighting set ups

will need to check connections

replace rreciever

the light should have only 2 wires mounted into connector the light plugs into - the wire colors are blue and white. The fan wiring does not be touched. Remove it and put it back check fan after you have checked breakers. If you touched the fan wiring the incoming power whit to white black and bluw wire to black. good luck

you dont have to use the switch on the fan body
