I have a Hunter air purifier model 30010 and it's fan is making noise. I cannot find any way to take it apart to see if I can clean the fan assembly or WD-40 it. Even YouTube has nothing. Ideas?

Looking at the images, I would imagine there are screws in deep sockets accessed from the base that hold the top and bottom section together. Sometimes they are hidden under rubber feet or under small removable plastic plugs. https://www.google.com/search?q=hunter+air+purifier+model+30010+disassembly ..

Is a 4 uf 250 an acceptable replacement for a 4 uf 350 on a hunter fan

Since I cannot see the fan I will take a safe answer and say probably not. The manufacturer spent more for the 350V capacitor, they had a reason. You can go to a higher voltage that would be OK.

I am replacing my thermostat to a Hunter 44905 thermostat Can you tell me where my four wires goes into the hunter, from the wall is red, white ,green and blue.

Unfortunately, the time to check where the wires go was when you removed them from your old thermostat. You need to match the pattern of the original thermostat to the HVAC (heat pump, furnace or other) system. Try going to your HVAC system's main inside box and opening the cover. Try to find the wiring connections to the control board. (This will be inside of the filter on most systems.) Take a picture or otherwise record which color wire goes to which letter terminal. I do not expect the wiring color pattern to be consistent over all the different types of heating and cooling systems installed by different companies. In the package with your new thermostat, you may probably have little adhesive labels with lettering like Y, G, Rh, Rc, W. Take the appropriate label and secure it to the matching color wire as noted at the control board of the HVAC system. Then connect the wires to the matching letter locations on the new thermostat. (Modify any jumpers on the thermostat based on the installation directions.) I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (I know that on my system (gas furnace and A/C forced air), there is an outside cover, the filter, and then an interior cover to access the control board. The board is near the bottom of the compartment.)

My Hunter fan using remote 85095-01 will not reverse ceiling fan direction.

Free online manual gives a suggestion that you may already tried to select the fan speed, and then click on the reverse button. Some ceiling fans also have a cord to pull to reverse direction, but unknown whether or not your fan has it. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/808927/Hunter-85095.html?page=2

Hunter ceiling fan won't turn. The light will come on. There is no humming sound when the chain is pull.

Likely the capacitor pack is kaput but can be other. Tjese can be found on eBay or Amazon. Capacitors are model specific.

Be sure reverse switch is not mid position. Check for power at fan pull chain.

How do I figure out the dip switches on the new Hunter remote if the old one is gone and I cannot reach the ceiling fan to retrieve the receiver.

Can be almost impossible to determine code without sighting receiver. Do you have old transmitter as the correct dip switch settings would be on this. One "trick" you can do if there are more than one remote fans installed is to check other controllers for their codes. generally when installers set dip switches for multiple fans in homes they move the No1 switch from 0 to 1 or vice versa, then the switch position for second fan is move switch 2 as previous. You may be lucky and "jag" the position otherwise you will need to get to receiver.

Besides an expensive Hunter Remote, will most universalremotes work for a Type 3 Hunter fan model 21944

If remote and receiver is rated for fan load then this should be possible. Will need to replace remote and sensor units as 3rd party remote may not be compatible with the Hunter type.
