I would assume you can’t if it has no provision for it.

You cannot do this because the remote has a connection for reversing the direction of the blades. Hunter does not post the schematic for their fans. There is a common, low, medium, high and possibly the light and the reverse direction. IF you do manage to connect it, you will lose a lot of functionality.

If you have this kind, it is actually INSIDE the lighting housing. Remove the glass dome, and there is a little slide switch next to one of the bulbs. Such a bad design, but, yeah . . . .

look up where hunter products are sold or online catalog for different lighting set ups

need to test power source -then power to unit -check wiring and connections --motor

the light should have only 2 wires mounted into connector the light plugs into - the wire colors are blue and white. The fan wiring does not be touched. Remove it and put it back check fan after you have checked breakers. If you touched the fan wiring the incoming power whit to white black and bluw wire to black. good luck

Checking OilCheck oil level immediately after fill- ing the reservoir. To check oil, bend an ordinary pipe cleaner into a 1/2" long hook and dip it into the oil reser- voir. If oil touches the end of the pipe cleaner, the fan has ample oil. If it does not touch, add SAE 10 non-detergent oil slowly until it touches the pipe cleaner.Your Original Hunter's unique lubricating systemThe bearings are submerged in a bath of oil. The oil moves up a spiral groove in the shaft, lubricating all bearing surfaces as the fan operates. This Lubrication System does not normally "use up" or require the addition of extra oil once the oil reservoir has been filled to the correct level. This unique lubrication system is one reason your Original Hunter Ceiling Fan will last a lifetime. It is highly unlikely that you will ever need to add oil to your Original fan once it is installed. Should you move your fan to another location, it is a good idea to check the oil reservoir. Hunter has developed an accessory 'Original Relocation Kit' that includes all mounting hardware and a fresh tube of oil for this reason. ((worth a look)) Hunter Ceiling Fan Light Low Profile with Frosted Clear Glass 27142... Another for $99... but that included blades & a motor (perhaps room for some NEGOTIATION). Happy hunting. Many Hunter fan manuals are available here: https://www.hunterfan.com/parts-manuals . I can't find a 20730-300. However, there is a manual for the 20730 ceiling fan. The direct link to the English version of the manual is currently https://s7d5.scene7.com/is/content/HunterFan/41343pdf . I suspect this manual will help since the 300 suffix specifies a color option. I hope it does help. Cindy Wells
