This must be a common problem, since I Googled the part number and it popped up before I completed the number. I am going to have to order a new remote, since I don't have a solder pen. Wish me luck.
The best course of action would be to reach out to Hunter Fan's customer support directly. They will help you or check various online retailers such a s amazon and ebay
Not being able to determine your ceiling fan make and/or model is a common issue.
I would recommend the below article as it provides a step by step on how to figure out the make and model of your fan. You will need this detail to get support

great question. this kind of issue is generally a problematic lamp controller. Lamp controllers get "used to" the current over time. So if you have a certain milli amperage flowing across the lamp controller for X years, eventually the lamp controller gets used to that current
The below article is very good at describing how a lamp controller works:

Talked to customer service. Thanks for the number. They so not make these remotes any more. But You do not need to buy a new jumper just remove the same jumper number from the ceiling fan. this is a very easy fix. Please do not buy a new seiling fan. You can even remove all the jumpers from the remote. Just make sure you remove all of them from both remote and ceiling fan.
hi,
you may have two dedicated ceiling fan circuits coming out of that box, check to make sure theres not a black wire bunched up in the ceiling or cut off, or try this
1.white to white wires, and black wire and black with a white stripe to red wire out of ceiling for fan and light together operation
2. If you can find the black and the red and the white coming out of the ceiling then you may have two switches on the wall for that fan, red for black fan wire, black with white stripe for the to black out of the ceiling , white all together. try that combination
for separate light and fan control from the wall
Question edited for clarity, 'make model (what it is)'.
Question moved to hunter Fans.
