I use InterVideo WinDVD version

If this same software worked previously then I would reload the software. If that does not do it then your laser mechanism may have lost its ability to properly focus on the disk surface of ram disks.. There may also be a firmware update that will improve the playback characteristics of your player.

InterVideo WinDVR 3.0 was running on Windows Xp SP3 32 Bit. But it will not run on Windows 8 64 Bit. What should I do?

Sometimes it will work if you run the program in compatibility mode. Right-Click on desktop icon or launch icon and there should be a "troubleshoot compatibility" May have to try a few different settings until it works.

Hi ,
WinDVD 4 Plus is outdated . If you are operating beyond XP , it won't work correctly anymore .
Otherwise , delete the program with a cleaning tool ( CCleaner or Revo Uninstaller ) rather than going to the Control Panel , reboot and reinstall WinDVD 4 .
Best regards .

The video format from the DVD is not recognised or supported by the player you have installed.

An alternative is to install the latest Codec for Windows OS(K-Lite Codec Pack Full or K-Lite Mega Codec Pack) from http://www.free-codecs.com/index.htm.

or

You can download the MPCStar player which play most Video/Audio format from http://www.mpcstar.com/ or you can also use the VLC Player from http://vlcplayerdownload.org/ (but need to install the codec too.)

Hope it helps.

Your display enviroment does not

First of all, do you have a BlueRay disc player in the computer, or just a DVD player? Also, from what I can tell, WinDVD 5 only supports DVD playback, not BlueRay. That may be why it's seeing "protected content". It just doesn't recognize the disc. If you do have a BlueRay player, you may need to upgrade to a newer version of WinDVD, or try some other software.

Hello,

Make sure that you have a DVD-RW and that you have a blank DVD placed in the drive. You need to also make sure that your program recognizes your DVD-RW.

Finally you can also just burn the image and save it on your computer and then try burning that image to a DVD using a different program like Nero.

Thanks,

Pat
