DOESNT DRAIN RINSE CYCLE

Some dishwashers will now wait before draining final rinse water. This helps the dishes dry. Instead of draining the hot water it will save it for a short time to dry dishes. Wait 20 minutes it should drain after that.

Dishwahser won't start, start button won't light

I took the door apart, removed the control board, which I had expected to replace. I disconnected the ribbon cable that connects the control panel to control board cleaned the connections and reassembled everything. The dishwasher has been working since.

Jenn Air dishwasher door won't close

i had the exact same issue. it's a broken latch mechanism, and is a fairly common problem.

i bought the part at my local repair shop for $45 (you can find it online for $30). it literally took 10 minutes.

you need to right size bit to remove the 10 bolts on the interior of the door. once you have those out, the latch slides right out of the top. there are 2 electrical connectors (careful - you can get a shock. disconnect the 2 connectors, reconnect to the new one, and zip your 10 bolts back in. super easy

The loud humming noise can be due to the pump sticking if a piece of debris gets trapped in it or an intermittent fault on the pump capacitor or starter relay. Why is my dishwasher making a buzzing noise?

Sounds like a noisy circulation pump motor. As an Engineer, I would treat any abnormal noise seriously; the motor may require examination and possibly a new start capacitor fitting? or it may be loose or have a problem with its impeller, etc. Or it could possibly be a relay for the heating element is noisy. Either way, abnormal noises are unusual, and dishwashers need to be 100% reliable as they are often used unattended or overnight and any problem might indicate a possible fire risk. Sorry to be so heavy - is the machine subject to any guarantees or extended insurance etc? Some have 5 year guarantees. Whatever, I would call an engineer out to have it checked over.

My dishwater had water in the bottom and now it won't start

First check your circuit breaker to make sure it didn't trip, if that is good, turn it off and take the 2 mounting screws usually at top of the dishwasher going into the counter top and slide it out. Then check the connection where the line comes in and connects to the power on the dishwasher, they are usually connected with wire nuts. Make sure connection is good.

WATER LEAKS UNDER THE SINK WHEN DISHWASHER IS IN

Check the connection to the drain tailpiece from the dishwasher under the sink and make sure the clamp hasn't slipped off and is tight. Check the drain hose from the dishwasher and be sure it's not split or damaged. Check the drain spur on the drain tailpiece and see if it's corroded or leaking. Check the trap under the sink as well and make sure it's not leaking.

I took the inside of the door off my Jenn Air dishwasher and now it won't start

You broke it!!!!!!! Check out the wiring associated with on/off cycle. There might also be a switch by the door designed to not allow unit to turn on when door is open - check it out. It might not be engaged if the inner panel of door is not properly hitting the switch.
