John Deere S240 - New Solenoid, still wont start
Available wiring diagram shows a VT/WT wire feeding the control side of the solenoid that is grounded to frame. To test the solenoid connect the VT/ WT wire side of solenoid to battery positive with a fused jumper. If the engine cranks then follow the WT/VT back through the safety circuits. If the engine doesn't crank then the problem is localized to solenoid and ground.

buy the shop manual and it covers trouble shooting.
JD 6400. My hydraulic is
Its a low transmission/hydraulic pressure.First, make sure your transmission fluid level is at the full mark. Also check if fluid is getting leaked from the lines. It's possible the fluid may be getting too hot. Check to make sure your radiator fins are not clogged. Pull the screen in front of the radiator and clean it, flush the radiator with water from the backside, you may need to pull some shields from the side of the engine to do this. Also as you mentioned that you hear a noise,it can be bad pressure sensor.
It is located on the front of the transmission, above the transmission filter. If you have a pressure gauge, you can verify if it has good pressure. Also for buzzing sound,
flush the hydralic system and fill it with fresh oil and if that dosnt work take the pump out and flush it manualy. Check the oil condition and relief valve. If the valve is getting stick the clean the valve and if oil is very dirty then replace the oil.But if oil is replaced just few months before and looks good then no oil change is required.-----------
check out.this troubleshooting will point towards the faulty part. This should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
John Deere x540 cranks but doesn't start.
Kawasaki FD731VThe ignition modules (coil) are mirrored and specific to cylinder (different part numbers) and will fire only when magnetic field polarity is correct. Choose one coil and flip it over. The plug wire may be short to reach but it's just temporary for testing. If now spark and plug wire is short, then you have it mounted at the wrong cylinder. If still no spark then it's possible the coil is bad. Repeat same test on the other cylinder. Comment for further assistance.
