At this temperature, food soils inside the oven decompose, leaving behind a small amount of ash. The first thing to do is cut the power. This will often release electronic catches. Give the oven door a good shake at the same time. This error indicates that the motor can't start. This could indicate that the motor is bad or the motor control unit has a fault. There also could be a broken wire between the motor and the MCU or between the MCU and the main control board. The main control board could also be at fault. There is a tech sheet in the washer (either behind the control panel or near the bottom of the washer behind the access hatch). Use this to check if the motor has been damaged. The 417 prefix means that the dryer was manufactured by Frigidaire. Frigidaire dryers use E60 to indicate the control board thinks that there is a stuck button on the control panel. Press each button separately and see if any seem to be stuck in one position. Replace any stuck buttons. If the buttons are fine, than you have a wiring issue between the control board and the control panel or the control board is faulty. You mean the 'Drum'? Dryers don't have barrels. If you Google make model replace heater element it will get you to the correct video for that location. Normally, you remove the controls console, remove the lid, remove the door and front panel, remove the belt, remove the rear drum bearing, pull the drum forward and out. Now you have access to the heater cowl.

It's most likely your thermal fuse. Same thing happened to me. I found 1 for $4.99 on Amazon. To get to it you must 1st open the dryer door, then use a putty knive to pry open the top panel. There are clips under each side that when you stick your putty knife in there, you'll feel it release. Then remove the 2 screws right under there, which will help to release front panel. After removing screws, lift front panel make sure you disconnect switch on right side near right screw. Then, look below the drum and you'll see the thermostat. It had 2 light blue wires clipped on top of it. Remove clips, then remove the 2 screws that fasten the thermostat... replace with new thermostat. The part# is listed on it. Mine was #3390719 ***Unplug dryer before doing anything***

First rule of repair, diagnose before purchasing. :>) The thermal fuse, door switch, element and on-off button can all be tested with an $8 test meter. It is just a matter of checking continuity with the meter set to Ohms.. Disconnect the connections to the element and check continuity.
