these machines are notorious for this you have to remove the c developer unit and shake the hell out of it you need a trained tech to do this if you attempt it cover the toner hole and firmly shake the hell out of it if successful it will start to add cyan toner when you reassemble and turn it on it will probably add too much so you will need to keep running prints until it looks good or replace the c developer unit be aware shaking the unit will get toner all over so cover it with a rag good or you will have a big mess

Error C6400 appears in Kyocera FS118 when Zero crossing signal problem occurs i.e when the engine PWB doesnt detect the zero crossing signal. This can occur due to --

#1 Poor contact in the connector terminals.
#2 Defective power supply PWB.
#3 Defective engine PWB.

To reset it from Mainatince mode turn the power switch off and open the front cover. Now, turn the power switch on and press the system menu/counter key to enter the maintenance mode.

1. Press the enter key. A selection item appears.
2. Select Execute using the up/down cursor keys.
3. Press the enter key. The fusing problem data is initialized. (Four service calls, namely C6000, C6020,
C6050, and C6400 are reset.)
4. After this is complete press the back key. The indication for selecting a maintenance item No. appears.

under the front of the cassette on the bottom is a white catch if you pull it towards you the paper will spring up. more then likely it is not automatically getting pushed when you put the cassette in.
if this is not correct if you take the cassette out and look in where you took it out of there should be a arm hanging down just left of center that is the paper out sensor arm of that is broken it could be your problem also

its probably on the developer roller look at it as you spin the roller you should see a darker than normal area wipe the roller with a dry cloth until you no longer see it if you are turning it the right way no toner will come out the roller will have a thin even coating of toner on it or try cleaning the charge roller on top of the drum unit it should be 1 of the 2 these machines need to have the oem toner

try a new toner cartridge

I don't think you are looking at coverage I think you are looking at toner levels

load a4 paper in bypass or the mp tray as it is also called

I did the same for a kyocera TA 420 showing F00 system error OFF

refill...uh oh probably wouldnt try it..there's is like only 1 company that does kyocera refill toners.....call KATUN... you can try to find that on the internet..you most likely willl have to buy actuall kyocera toner..

its a fold down tray on side or in front of machine depends on your model

make sure the main charge cleaner is in home position

Reinsert the connector (See page P.1-5-19).

Check for continuity. If none, replace the
thermal cutout (See page P.1-5-19).

installed incorrectly.
Check and reinstall if necessary (See page

The problem you are facing is a hardware issue try power cycling the printer by taking out the power cable and wait for 3 minutes and try to turn it back on if the issue still persists contact the manufacturer.
