Are you sure it's 1300 service code as I have the service manual and that code is not listed

check the waste toner bottler or the other toners reset in machine then reboot

check if auto rotation is on or off

open the back of the machine two screws hold it in

look for the trigger that hits the switch to tell the machine it is close usally i thin long piece of plastic

check paper sensor it might locked by paper scarp

Power off the printer, open left door and press in the drum unit (press in the area just above the square button) until it clicks into place. Close the door and power on.

You can connect the printer with a parallel cable, open cmd and type echo !R! FPLC 0; EXIT;>lpt1.

This is refer to communication error between the printer and the extra drawer. If you power on the printer without an extra pf unit, does the printer power on?

Main PWB is defective. So it has to be replaced.

Press Menu button, then press the up arrow until you find the Adjust/Maintenance. Press the right arrow and search with the up arrow the Service choice. Then press the right button and search with the up or down arrow for Maintenance. Press the OK twice and the Install MK will disappear.

check the dv unit

This is a machine serialnumber mismatch between to EEprom's

waste container inside drum unit is full. disassemble drum unit, vacuum out waste toner, reinstall. use genuine toner to help prevent issue

You can vacuum out the waste toner by removing the panel on the left or right side of the drum unit (can't remember). there is no plug. messy but it works

Fax board problem

could be a number of things but could be the dv unit.

Upgrade your firmware on the machine (a tech will need to do that) and download the latest KX driver from kyocera support
