935 Service Printhead Error
This error indicates that the Printhead ( Laser Scanner ) is defective. Sometimes turning the printer off for a little & then turning it back on, gets rid of the error but it will usually return. The printhead is situated at the top of the printer under the top cover. It will need to be replaced.
Load MP Feeder
That is not an error message. it is telling you to load the Manual Paper feeder. Put some papaer in it and it will print. check youyr set up to make sure that you are printing to the trays not the manual feeder
Invalid engine code
The easiest way to solve this is to work through Lexmark Technical Support.
Their web site may have the correct engine code on their site, but installation of the code can be tricky.
Are you getting a 900 Invalid Engine code message?

Lexmark T614 horizontal lines on right the left margins
This sounds like a cartridge problem if you have changed the cartridge and the problem persists I would say it is the positive charge roller inside the printer. If you open the cartridge door and remove the cartridge with the cartridge out starting closing the door and you will see this roller moving down from the top inside of the printer. do not touch this without a glove or lint free cloth. not hard job to change if you can get one in your area if not we have them available.

Printer is printing many weird characters
I had this problem. It was caused by a badly-fitting parallel printer cable. I unplugged the cable at both ends, blew out the dust and re-plugged it. It then worked fine.
If that does not work for you, try cleaning the contacts with electrical contact cleaner. Clean both cable ends, clean the printer socket and clean the PC socket.
Alternatively buy a replacement cable.
Parallel/centronics cables and connectors are far more delicate than USB cables.
194 SERVICE CODE CDC
To resolve this issue, you will need to update the printer code. Do the following:
- Check the printer's current base and engine code levels. You can do this by printing the Menu Settings pages from the Utilities Menu:
- Press the Menu> button on the printer operator panel until Utilities Menu appears on the display.
- Press the Select button twice to generate the Menu Settings pages.
- On the second page, look under the Printer Information heading to locate the base and engine code levels.
- Update the printer's base code to at least version 852.054 and the engine code to at least version 9.05-R02:
download the appropriate base and engine codes for your printer model.
You will need to contact Lexmark Technical Support to obtain the proper
key code for your printer model. IMPORTANT: The code for base printers is different from the code for network printers; please be mindful of this when requesting a key code from Technical Support.
- Go back to the firmware download page and enter the key code given to you by Technical Support to initiate the downloading of printer code.
- Unzip the downloaded file containing both the base and engine codes to a convenient folder or location. Then follow the instructions for your configuration in the ReadMe file that downloads with the code. You can also find these instructions in the appropriate link below.
900 service error with lexmark printer
OK, a couple of things... Some earlier Lexmark units had code on both a RIP board (raster image
processor) and an engine board. In this case, the code would have to be reloaded into both
boards. Fortunately, this can be done even if the printer will not boot to a ready state. However, if
this has already been done sucessfuly, the problem may well not be the printer but rather something
in the data stream. To confirm this, remove any and all data cables and reboot the printer. If it comes ready and you can print all the internal pages including the network config pages, then it is likely the
problem is the data stream. One must be careful when the printer is controlled by a print server
because the end user may not have control over the print que. If a corrupt or printer incomprehensible
job is stuck in the que, the printer will go to a 900 condition as soon as the network interface
initializes. This will continue until the print que is cleared.
Hope this helps...
Sean.

Lexmark T62 Error 32- Unsupported print cartridge
Hi Sue,
Firstly, switch on the printer without a cartridge inside. Put in the old cartridge and if you get the Error 32, it could be poor contact. Clean the contacts in the printer (contact with the chip on the cartridge). If you don't get Error 32, there could be a problem with the chip contacts on the new OEM Lexmark cartridge or a faulty chip. As for other brands or remanufactured cartridges, it could be compatible parts they used. The chip and toner wheel have to be compatible.
Good luck.
What does 900 Service RIP Software error message
If the
900 error occurs
only when the printer is receiving information from a network or
computer, contact your software/network support. If the error occurs
when the printer is idle or not connected to the network or PC, there
may be a printer hardware or connection problem. Sometimes a bad
connection with an Internal Network Adapter/Network Card can cause the
problem. The first thing to check is the base printer.
To
check the base printer:
- Turn off the printer and
disconnect every cable, except for the power cord.
- Turn on the
printer and see if the error returns.
- If the error
does not return, try to print a test page from the Test Menu.
- Press Menu > to
enter Menus.
Optra
S series and Optra K series printers: Continue to press Menu > until you see TESTS MENU.
Optra T
and Lexmark T and W series printers: Continue to press Menu > until you see UTILITIES MENU.
- Press Select to view the menu
items. TESTS/UTILITIES MENU is
now on the first line of the display.
- Press the Menu > button until Print Menus appears on the
second line.
- Press Select.
- If the display tells you to
change paper, press Select or the
GO button to
print.
- If the test page prints
correctly, the printer's hardware is most likely working correctly. The
source of the problem is probably outside the base printer.
- If the 900 error occurs again
before, during, or after the printing of the test page, remove all
options (internal network adapters, optional feeders, second drawer
options, finisher options, additional memory, etc.) from the printer.
- Then turn on the printer
and try to print the test page. If it still posts the 900 error, the printer may
need to be serviced.
- If the error does not
return, then the problem may be with one of the options.
IMPORTANT: If
you receive an Invalid Engine
Code error message when you power the printer back on,
there is a problem with the printer. An Invalid Engine Code condition
will cause a 900
RIP Software Error message to appear if you try to use
the printer. The Invalid
Engine Code error means either that your printer has
lost its stored operating code for the engine board or that the
printer's engine board has gone out.
