This has a new fangled direct drive motor. Normally the fix would be to replace the motor controller or one of the capacitors on the board, but this has none of those, and appears to be run by one control board and that is no longer available. Is the washing machine giving off a hot machine oil smell or making a grinding noise when the tub is turning? I've had to replace the drum bearings several times on LG front load washers. The first sign that the bearings are going are loud noises when the drum is spinning and eventually the hot machine oil smell. The bearings can be replaced but they usually last only 6 months to a year. The bearings are put on with a press at the factory and unless you are very accurate, you won't be able to get them on exactly straight and they will wear out quick.

Replace the 5 way valve. get the old flow restrictor out of the drying cold water line before reconnecting. It came out of the valve to cause the problem.
