Unfortunately Panasonic is the only source for the original driver disk. You might find a used CD on eBay or on one of the digital camera forums.

Hello Peter Southey, Before you throw the whole thing over your shoulder consider that our world supply of BATTERIES are riddled with counterfeits... and your NEIGHBORHOOD CAMERA SHOP is also as likely to be victimized as the average eBay novice... It is a GLOBAL PROBLEM... I'm not saying your camera does not have a TROUBLE... just suggesting a likely scenario (I have personally experienced). My best suggestion here is to look closely at that new battery before you despair completely... First step... check out TRUSTED SELLERS on eBay AMAZON... (as in any MARKET) great as their return policies are... you can get hurt on unit cost and shipping if you are not paying attention (in my humble opinion). Carnac the Magnificent

This is probably a deliberate electronic interlock to prevent photographs being taken when the flash is obscured. Why not just refrain from putting your fingers in inappropriate places ?

Google it, and look at the images

If the camera is under warranty, use it, If not check for a local repair shop or go online to Lumix website for information o repairs and the costs.

Is this information not contained in the camera manual ? If you have no manual, you can download a manual for almost any equipment by Googling the make and model followed by the word Manual, then follow the appropriate link(s).

You can't repair it, you must send it in to the manufacturer for an exchange camera.

sir set your camera to default by using the menu on the screen this will be ok.

look in menu and cut photo sizes also any thing you set as fine such sharpness put to standard .
