My led lights are flashing on electric Maytag Neptune Mbe9700ayw how can I solve this problem

i don't know. consider shutting off dryer, open the dryer door, turn off the main electrical source [shut off circuit breakers for dryer or unscrew fuses. shut the dryer door and turn breakers on and or fuses in. this may reset your machine's internal program. choose a new timed setting to see if all is OK.

Maytag centenial gas dryer replacement handle...have part

It may seem crazy, but you have to remove the dryer door, and then take the door apart to be able to replace the handle! I've tried doing it without taking the door apart, and I only ended up damaging the door and replacement handle!

Maytag gas dryer MGD5630HW0, error code flashing F3 E3 after a few minutes. Can someone tell me what the code is for?

I did A & B, B actually did the trick and I have had absolutely no problems. Possible Solutions A Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
  1. Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
  2. Start a time dry cycle.
  3. Monitor the dryer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
B It indicates that the lint screen or vent is clogged; the vent is crushed, kinked or has too many turns. ... The dryer will continue to run when this diagnostic code is present. My dryer did the same thing. I cleaned all the vents thoroughly, if you are unable to clean inside where the vent screen is try this. remove lint screen, using tape or rubberband attach a empty paper towel roll to the end of your vacuum crevice tool. Also at the 99 cent store I purchased a appliance brush to loosen any lint inside before vacuuming. The brush works better then the one I purchased from Home Depot for $15. Vacuum the inside of the dryer, be sure to vacuum the very back inside and around the door. This is the tricky part now. The dryer flex hose actually has to be set just right. If the placement is incorrect you will get the error codes, dryer turns off after mins etc. Here is a Flex hose tip video. Hope this is helpful

Maytag Neptune dryer model MDG9700 does not heat up. When dryer is on, I can feel very light heat and there is a slight burning odor. Drum spins and dryer appears to work as usual.

Check you flame. If the flame is very short (less than half way down the burner tube, it can be a gas pressure regulator failure. They are adjustable but that usually indicated it is about to fail. Make sure the flame ignites every time you hear the relay and solenoid valve click. The is a small panel on the front that can be removed to see the burner and the pressure regulator. The is a glow igniter that comes on several seconds before the gas is admitted. Confirm that works. Check at the dryer vent whether you smell gas once and a while which would be an indication of a failure to ignite.

My Maytag Neptune MDG6700A will run, but the ignitor will never glow and flame never turns on. I cannot locate the Thermal Fuse to change it.

have you checked the relay for the igniter and confirmed there is power to the igniter?

Play in the motor shaft, up and down

the bearing of the motor are worn out. I think you will need to buy a replacement. TO my knowledge the individual parts for the motor are not readily available (I hope I am wrong about the parts...)

Will not start

Most likely cause for not starting is the door safety switch. press in the door hard while trying to start it. If that works then the adjustment of the safety switch is required. if that fails, check the functioning (electrically) or the switch it self

Maytag ldg8824aae won't heat aignition glows orange but flame doesn't go on I installed new Dryer Gas Valve Ignition Solenoid Coils and still doesn't flame on

There are two coils on the gas valve that fail from time to time. Before changing them, check to see if you can light the burner by using something like a bar b q lighter or a long match as soon a the igniter switched off to confirm whether the gas valve is working. I have had the same problem and had to replace the coils on the gas valve. One of the coils is an opening and the other is a hold coil.

Hi, my Maytag dryer model MDE7400AYW dryer won't start. You have to pull the knob to start the dryer. It's been a pain so I just yanked it really hard and it broke off. Can it be replaced?

Failure to start spinning is usually caused by the door (safety) switch not working. Depending on what you broke off, you may have to replace the whole switch

Maytag dryer model MDE6657BYW timer will not advance in Perm Press or Regular cycles but will in the Time Dry cycle. Replaced timer, worked for a couple of days, now new timer does the same thing.

It’s most likely caused by your Cycling Thermostat AP6007567. When this thermostat opens due to heat in the blower housing, the timer starts running. I believe this thermostat is bypassed in the Timed Dry mode. The thermostat is on the blower housing so you would have take the front off the dryer to access it.

We have a maytag dryer, we just replaced the drive pulley on the motor and the drive belt we tested it and it ran fine, we put a load on it and the drum doesnt turn what could be the cause

The most likely cause is a lack of tension on the belt.? I'm not familiar with this particular model so here's a few diagnostic pointers; It may be that there's a spring-loaded belt tensioner that you've not properly reattatched.? I could be that there's a (or a couple) of tension-adjustment bolts, around the drive-motor, which can move the motor a little, to take up the belt tension.? It could also be that the new drive-belt is NOT the correct one for the job.? If there is no tensioner or adjuster, then the belt will be a 'stretch' type, which is a tiny bit undersized & needs to be gently levered into place on the motor & drum pulleys.? The old belt should have a part number on the webbing on the outside of it. Make sure that the new belt has exactly the same part number on it.?

The thermal couple on a Maytag dryer keeps tripping , changed out all vent pipe from dryer to out side, thermal couple still tripped after 2weeks , Maytag model MEDC300BW0

Automatically resetting thermostatic switches have a natural lifespan. The more often that they trip-out, the weaker they get, so the more likely they become to trip-out. There's a good chance that yours has reached the end of it's lfe & will need to be replaced. If you're a good DIY'er, you can do it yourself.? If not, you'll need an engineer to come out to replace the part.

My maytag Bravos dryer won't start. It turns on, but when I press start there is just a clicking sound. What would cause this?

With the door open, push the door switch and turn the drum by hand clockwise while pressing the start button. Need 3 hands for this. If it starts to run then it's the motor switch. If the drum turns freely, it's the belt

We have just bought a maytag MDE7657AYW, and have to install a 220 outlet, we need to know the amp rating for breaker. Thanks

I don't see the installation guide or specifications for the MDE7657AYW. However, most Maytag electric dryers (220 or 240V) require a 30A fuse/breaker. See https://www.maytag.com/content/dam/global/documents/201203/specification-sheet-I90013.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (The gas dryers need a 15A breaker.)
