Yeah, those Maytag DW's are known for having latch problems. Usually, you can just pull the door open by pulling hard. But if that doesn't work, you might be able to unscrew the latch, and then open the door. With the door open, you can now take it apart to get to the latch and replace it.

You have to work from the front. Pull the top then the front then you will be able to see everything. Pretty self explanatory.

be very careful with electricity. fuses are in the home's wiring. open the dryer door. if possible follow the wire
from the large plug back to the home's main electrical panel. there may be a small panel just for the dryer or it may be connected directly into the main panel. locate the fuses if used, unscrew them and replace them with ones you know are good or use an electrical meter to test the original fuses for continuity. install good fuses.
if your system uses circuit breakers, locate the breakers and look to see if they have been moved from the on position. switch them off and on a few times and leave them on. go and close the dryer door and choose a new dryer setting to try to see if your dryer works. great if all works as it should. if dryer won't start or fails again, you need to have your house wiring inspected or your dryer repaired. call for help without delay.

i don't know. consider shutting off dryer, open the dryer door, turn off the main electrical source [shut off circuit breakers for dryer or unscrew fuses.
shut the dryer door and turn breakers on and or fuses in. this may reset your machine's internal program.
choose a new timed setting to see if all is OK.

Slide the frig out, (Unplug Frig. first) remove the cover so you can see the condenser, beside the condenser there is a switch that has to be carefully removed w/(fasteners) Take to your nearest appliance store, last time I did this it was like $52.00. Carefully plug-in, take not were the wiring goes usually they only fit just one way. reassemble cover, plug-in you should hear it kick on, good luck.

What do you mean by rinse properly?

Maytag Washing... | Answered on Sep 28, 2019 | 697 views

The drum turns on a belt. If you can see behind you can see if the belt is broken or just off of the motor. If the belt is in place you may have a bad motor.

If you go to
It will show you styles of Maytag Refrigerators. If you click on the one that matches your style, it will show you possible areas the filter is located. You can then look in those areas. Once you locate it, then you can then identify your filter part # and replace if needed. You can also go to Maytags website and look up your model and find the manual. The manual will likely tell you where the filter is and what the part number is.

You may have inadvertently set your range to "Sabbath Mode". The display actually reads "SAB". This is a feature that allows the consumer to disable certain features of the range in order to honor the sabbath. You cannot defeat it by unplugging the range or turning off the breaker either. You will either have to wait 72 hours for the mode to clear, or figure out how to turn it off.

To turn the Sabbath Mode on/off on most Maytag models you simply press and hold the "Clock" button for 5 seconds. These instructions should be in your owner's manual.

If this does not correct the problem for you, please post back with your model number (located on the back of the range or around the oven door opening) so that I may be able to assist you better. I hope this helps you.

Could be door switch failure. That's a cheaper alternative to replacing the control board.
