Maytag Gemini, double oven electric. Replaced bottom element, replaced thermal sensor and tested power. It still won't heat up. WHY?

There are several potential reasons why your Maytag Gemini double oven electric range is still not heating up after replacing the bottom element and thermal sensor and testing the power. Some possibilities include:
  1. The wiring or control board may be faulty and preventing the oven from heating up.
  2. The upper heating element or broil element may also be faulty and need to be replaced.
  3. The oven may not be calibrated properly, which could cause it to not heat up correctly.
  4. There may be a problem with the oven's door latch or switch, which could prevent it from heating up.

Maytag aqualift range is not getting very hot

your Maytag range has only a single heating element located at the top of the oven, it is likely a "broil" element, which is used primarily for cooking food close to the top of the oven. The lower heating element, which is typically used for baking and roasting, may be hidden beneath the oven floor or located at the bottom of the oven. If your oven is not getting very hot, it is possible that the broil element is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced. However, if the oven is not heating evenly or is not getting hot enough to cook food properly, it may be a more complex issue related to the temperature sensor, the control board, or other components. To diagnose and repair the issue, it is recommended to have the range serviced by a qualified technician, who can properly identify the model and locate the faulty component. The model number of your range can typically be found on a label inside the oven door, on the back of the range, or on a storage drawer beneath the oven.

Here are some general steps that may help you remove the tub:
  1. Disconnect power: Turn off the power to the washing machine and disconnect the power cord.
  2. Empty the tub: Remove any clothing or items from the tub.
  3. Locate the retaining clips: The retaining clips are typically located around the perimeter of the tub, near the top of the machine.
  4. Release the clips: Use a flat-head screwdriver or pliers to gently release the retaining clips. Be careful not to damage the clips or the tub.
  5. Check for a retaining nut: If you have difficulty releasing the retaining clips, check to see if there is a retaining nut that needs to be removed. This nut is usually located on the back of the machine, near the bottom of the tub.
  6. Remove the tub: Once you have released the clips and removed any retaining nuts, you should be able to carefully lift the tub out of the machine.

Maytag LSE1000 Got the top off the machine but can't move top off because of all the attached wires. Is the only way to remove wires?

es, in order to remove the top of a Maytag LSE1000 washing machine, you'll need to first disconnect any attached wires. This is because the wires are connecting important components like the control panel and the sensors to the rest of the machine. Here are the steps you can follow to safely disconnect the wires:
  1. Unplug the washing machine: Before you begin, make sure to unplug the machine from the power source to prevent any electrical shock.
  2. Locate the wires: Look for the wires that are connecting the top of the machine to the rest of the machine. They should be near the back of the machine where the top and bottom halves of the machine meet.
  3. Label the wires: Label the wires so you know which wire goes where when you're ready to put the machine back together. You can use masking tape and a marker to label each wire.
  4. Disconnect the wires: Gently pull the wires from their connectors, making sure to keep them separated so they don't get tangled. Be careful not to pull too hard, as this could damage the wires or the connectors.
  5. Repeat the process for all the wires: Repeat the process for each wire until they're all disconnected.
Once you've disconnected all the wires, you should be able to remove the top of the machine. Make sure to keep the wires organized and in a safe place while you're working on the machine. When you're ready to reassemble the machine, simply reconnect the wires in the reverse order you disconnected them.

Maytag when filling hot water it seems to switch between hot and cold when on hot it seems to be pulsating in the pipes where I can hear it in through the house.

If you are experiencing pulsating hot water in your Maytag washing machine, it is likely due to an issue with the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the hot and cold water that enters the washer. Over time, it can become worn or damaged, which can cause the water flow to pulsate or switch between hot and cold. To fix this issue, you may need to replace the water inlet valve. This can be done either by a professional or on your own, although it is recommended to seek help from a professional if you are inexperienced with appliance repairs. Before replacing the water inlet valve, you should also check the hoses for any blockages or kinks, as this can also cause pulsating water flow. Additionally, inspect the pressure switch and the timer, as these can also be a source of the problem. Once the repair is complete, ensure to check the water pressure in the washer to make sure that it is operating correctly. Written by Chatsonic

I have a Maytag bravos dryer med6400tb0 that starts & stops immediately

It is possible that the motor might be faulty or bad then.Or it could be the fact that your dryer has quit working and you need a new dryer. They don't make the parts anymore for your dryer so you will have to buy a new dryer instead.

Why will my Maytag LAT9706AAE wash on delicate cycle and advance to spin but on regular cycle will only till and not advance to wash or agitate

It's possible that the lid switch is malfunctioning which may prevent the machine from starting on a regular cycle. Inspect the switch for any signs of damage and if necessary, replace it. It is also possible that the timer knob is not properly set or the water level switch is defective. Check these as well to see if they're the culprit.

How do i reset the control panel on a Maytag MFX2876DRM00; it had a blank code number?

The issue with your refrigerator turning off and then coming back on could be due to a problem with the control panel or the main control board. Here are a few steps you can try:
  1. Check the wiring: If the wiring connecting the control panel and main control board is damaged, it can cause the machine to shut down. Check the wiring and connections for any damage, and repair or replace as necessary.
  2. Reset the control board: If the main control board is damaged, it can cause the machine to shut down. You can try to reset the control board by unplugging the machine from the electrical outlet for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the control board.
  3. Check the thermostat: The thermostat may be damaged or malfunctioning, causing the refrigerator to turn off and then come back on. You can test the thermostat by checking the resistance with a multimeter. If the resistance is not within the manufacturer's specifications, you may need to replace the thermostat.
If you're not comfortable with the above steps, it's best to contact a qualified repair technician for assistance. Also, be sure to confirm the code needed to program the new control panel before installing it.

My Maytag top load washer makes a squealing noise during sensing only. There is no noise during washing or during spinning. It is about 3 years old.

A squealing noise during the sensing cycle of your Maytag top-load washer can be caused by a number of factors. Here are some common reasons and steps you can take to resolve the issue:
  1. Loose belt - The noise could be caused by a loose or worn belt that needs to be tightened or replaced. You may need to remove the front panel of the washer to access the belt.
  2. Idler pulley - If the idler pulley that keeps tension on the belt is worn or damaged, it can cause a squealing noise. Replace the idler pulley if necessary.
  3. Bearing - A worn bearing in the tub can cause a squealing noise. Replacing the bearing will typically require disassembling the washer.
  4. Drive motor - If the drive motor is worn or damaged, it can cause a squealing noise. Replace the drive motor if necessary.
If you're not comfortable diagnosing and repairing the issue yourself, it's best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.

Maytag Washing Machine Model LA712 makes a noise like the belt is slipping, then eventually catches and operation is normal. Happens only during cold months in my area.

Question edited for clarity and add 'maker model (what it is)'. Question moved from Speed Queen to Maytag. In cold weather an old belt become hard and stiff. When it warms up it is fine. You can either change the belt or you can spray it with Belt Conditioner which helps to soften the rubber and also makes it stickier. https://www.google.com/search?q=la712+adjust+belt+tensioner Belt conditioner https://www.google.com/search?q=belt+conditioner

Clothes wrapping around washing machine agitator.

This issue could be caused by a number of things. It is possible that the clothes are not properly balanced in the wash drum, causing them to wrap around the agitator. It could also be a problem with the agitator itself, or with the transmission.
