First thing is you are not giving much information. What was being done to the machine to cause the issue. What is the OS and what version. Was the bios chaged? We need more input to solve. It sounds like the "boot loader" is corrupt. Try this when the power is turned on to get into the "bios screen" "Press your PC's power button and wait until you see an image appear on the monitor. Press the appropriate key repeatedly. Common keys are Delete and F1, but some systems use F2, F5 or F12. Bear in mind that some wireless keyboards may not work before Windows loads, so use a wired keyboard if possible." Once you get into the screen usually in the Option there is a tab marked "save settings" There you should see a option of "Load Optimized Defaults" set that then "save and exit" click "yes" and post back.
