I am getting an error
Close Designer 9.
Open the folder containing the 'DSF' file.
Try to copy the file into a different folder, or onto a USB memory-stick.
Do you still get the same error-message?
If so, then the problem is that your disk-drive has a problem;
your problem is _not_ a problem with the Designer 9 software.
Your disk-drive could be "dying". Backup all your important files.
Consider replacing the disk-drive, before it COMPLETELY fails.

Can you convert micrografix draw files to another
Each Micrografx Designer 3.1 *.drw file should hold one page of drawings, and that one page should be at page 1 in the Micrgrafx layout.Corel Designer Technical Suite X5 has a free 30-day trial period. This program will import a Micrografx Designer *.drw file and let you SAVE AS or EXPORT AS an *.svg file. Many current drawing programs, e.g., Visio, can import this *.svg file and let you save as a *.vsd file. But if your *.drw file contained many pages of drawings, your converted file will have many pages of drawings but often in a single large page that you cannot edit. So safer to start out with *.drw files that each contain one page, and that one page should be drawn at page 1 within Micrografx Designer.I have used the above method to convert very old Micrografx Designer 3.1 *.drw files to Visio *.vsd files. One problem was the Greek letters that were italics in the *.drw file are not italics in the *.vsd file.
I have windows 7 64bits
You try checking this website, and get the tutorial from http://windowsdraw64.comoj.com/ this should enable you to run your copy of Micrografx Webtricity on Windows 7
I really love this program.
There is a way of having micrografx draw install and run properly on windows 7 64-bit and also 32bit
The discovery is that most of these programs are not really 16 bit
If you want check out the website at

If you want more evidence of this let me know
Unable to use Micrografx Picture Publisher 10.0
Make sure that Micrografx Picture Publisher 10 pro installs into the X66 Program files folder.By default it will always install into the 64 bit program file if you have a 64bit installed. If you have the 32 bit Windows 7 installed then right click with your mouse on the program before opening it up and select compatibility mode.Select XP SP3 compatibility mode. This works fine on my Windows 7 32bit. Use the first paragraph method if you have the 64bit Windows 7.Regards Brian
