Surface rt is slow and freezes
Sounds like you need to do a system refresh, RT is usually quite responsive.
Swipe right to open charms menu, then click on Update and Recovery, then Recovery, then choose "Refresh you PC without affecting your files".

Pull the battery and wait 30 seconds to reinsert... then put it back in and hook up to ac adapter and power it up... it should reboost with no problem... this problem shouldn't recurr after proper updating of windows software.

Battery location
I signed up for net gear but it is saying it will take a few minutes.now it is saying can't establish a reliable connection to the server

Bought the Surface 2 around Thanksgiving and have a couple issues I'd like to raise with the device
1) No, you are limited to the Windows Store. It is getting better all the time, just be patient and your favorite apps should show up soon.
2) Lowering the screen brightness is one of the best methods of extending your battery's charge.
3) You could use headphones or a bluetooth speaker to get better sound. There isn't much space inside these machines for decent speakers so they aren't ususually very good.
