a 2001 made mobo wow a new record here on RELIC-city. no cd photo of it posted, the disk must show microsoft made or from MSI (XP recovery)? but no photo of it told XP support ended 2014, and is virus magnet ,why go there? nobody on earth can guess what is in your hands(disk-wise) here are the rules (short)

1. a real OS CD. XP cd rom MS
2. boot order CD first.
3. hdd not bad, most this old are Dead.
4. 1 keyboard. usb.
5. the RTC coin cell is dead, and none of this works like that.
6. fans not dead for sure CPU and PSU
7. omg you last person on earth with xp floppy set.

no sata ports hdd, no way to run model SATA HDD or ODD no PCI express slots only IDE pata sockets. for useless now dead PATA drives.

no pc told no os told msi makes 1000 of models, not told. you need mobo schooling, ask.

the camera is a real camera in the screen bezel pointed to you not to itself or the screen of any laptop how can it see backwards. a cell phone has front and rear camera this PC is not a Cell phone. answer 2 NO OS told at all we can not guess OS you run. but the drivers are wrong and or MSI apps to make the camera work like new. OS upgrade love to break cameras, did you? the most confusing thing is take pictures/ videos using the internet. what does that mean? be clear on use or get wrong answers.

MSI WIND U210-006US this? it has full model number and lots of sub models. parts are at ebay (pure luck) any button works wired correctly but most do not fit this case. MSI.com does not sell these parts, now. 2009 made PC. is 9 years old then and 13 now. google for parts ebay for parts. use true full model names for parts or get the wrong parts./.

intel 915 is relic now, 2004 year mobo, a relic and coin cell battery is dead now, not one lasted 14+ years ever. no OS told by you at all, not one clue just nebular OS. no cd told, no label on CD told. The CD in the box new is for drivers only and does not boot from MSI. only MS disks boot here (XP was it new) I can only guess it is a bogus CD-r copy of some OS ? Many PCs this old can not read CD-R or DVD-R only real CDs to boot any CD, the CD must be in top of boot order or all other things removed like HDD and USB . then the CD most be bootable format like real Microsoft disk all are. NO OS told at all but is not linux or chrome OS , right. my guess is the CDs in the box new in the box then confuse you? the msi is only drivers, the manual on CD and utilities, a OS install is on a MS disks with XP SP3 best in class then. to boot a good CD (XP )<< and real, clones may fail. it must be in boot order first as CD then power on and hammer the space bar (easy to find and hit) this magic tapping of space bar, forces the CD to boot ! and does if not , bad Disk bad , CD drive , gee its over 14years old coin cell bad or settings wrong in bios boot order.

all manuals for routers are free all manuals are on line, all are. for sure under 10 years old or even older most. yours is 2005 made a real relic now. 13 years old for you and now 17 years old. no 2 routers work the same why (settings or features all) you did the long reset (at button) so the router is now back to day1, new in the box state so only cure is the manual now I will google it for you, 10 sec work the manual is at MSI.com but is slow to navigate there,so I am lazy here is the echo of it, 182 pages deep., shocking yes but routing is complex. but basic setup is not hard. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/360230/Msi-Rg-54g3.html at IP address 192.168.1.254 see page 10 first, how to access the build in setting page of the router. on PC uses chrome to access it or firefox v95 up do not use IE1 to 11, as it has problems now. page 10. click OK to any security certificate error do to 17 year age.

MS-7388 (V1.X) Mainboard???? 2007 made fails 11 years later as most do, for RTC CMOS coin cell dead, a $1 fix. from walmart exit lane 15, CR2032 a full sized desktop mobo ATX all PC'S DIE FOR BATTERIES, THEN HDD DEAD. 2 top cause, we test them, BIos dead is not hdd. Bios dead is coin cell dead. not told is

• PC power lamp actions, dead or blinks?
• all fans in PC spin, are those all packed full of lint, ouch bad.
• beep errors
• lack of or too loud sounds, fans acting odd.
• it needs to be fully cleaned with 11 years of filth.?
• DDR memory re-seated, AC power cord pulled for 1hr first.
• Video card re-seated same rule on AC cord. (none)
• PSU bench tested, ask
• HDD tested,ask.

ouch this MOBO has no VGA port and uses AMD chips not supported now, so OS upgrades fail. this mobo needs VGA or GPU card to do video. X16 slot PCI-e express slow it best to put it, what is there? bad news on (no support now) 2007 chips all support ended LONG AGO. for any newer OS. there is none but googling this finds some, 1 in 1000 models leaked marker MSI does not do that, no OEM does, ever.

laptop screen dead./ well first remove the huge battery first and run on AC power pack only? if fails. make sure coin cell RTC battery is fresh. on any PC if 2010 or older the backlamps CCFL are now dead. use flash light on screen see data turned on, bingo for dead CCFl your PC is at least 2008 made so CCFL are dead. spec Atom N450, 1.66 GHz, Single-core, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, 10" screen a new screen is $50 , parts + labor extra.

most monitors made have no service guide, and if exists are only sold to authorized shops, MSI the base is removed first completly the all seen screwns then thing pry part, no to monitors do this the same way.

hdd bad we test it first, 2 things, 1: coin cell new, below 2.9vdc is bad. 2: test hdd using SMART drive test app (takes 10seonds work) hdd bad,makes boot files bad. classic.

the manual tells this. it means I am sleeping now. push PC power button for 10 seconds and release or hammer the space key to unsleep it. but power button way always works.

2 posts same question that makes no sense. what input what means swthing. tell all, not this short post, all matters. it is just a mobo , sold new empty. tell all connected tall what it does, and does not do, clearly.

If your OS is reading the 4Gb, it will be running the 4GB even if the bios is only seeing 3GB. You may just need to update the firmware on your motherboard but I suggest that you just leave it as is since the OS is recognizing the 4GB.
