Nextbook 8P won't reset. I have tried troubleshooting instructions with no result
you are having trouble resetting your Nextbook 8P. Here are a few steps you can try to reset your device:
- Soft Reset: Hold down the Power button until the device turns off, then turn it back on.
- Factory Reset using the Settings: Go to "Settings," then "Backup & reset," and finally "Factory data reset." Confirm the action and wait for the reset to complete.
- Factory Reset using Hardware Buttons: If you are unable to access the settings menu, you can try resetting the device using hardware buttons. To do this, you will need to follow these steps:
- Power off the device
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button
- Release the buttons when the Nextbook logo appears
- Press the Volume Down button to navigate to "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select it
- Confirm the action by pressing the Volume Down button to select "Yes" and the Power button to confirm.
If none of these steps work, the device may have a hardware issue and it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer or a professional repair service for further assistance.
I can't get nextbook to go into safe mode. How do I fix this problem
Hello Dear, this might help you go into safe mode
To get into "Safe Mode" please do the following.
1. First turn off the tablet.
2. Next press and hold "Power" until you see the manufacturers logo on the screen, then release the power button.
3. "Quickly" press "Volume Down" and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.
4. If you wanted disable it, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.
Why is it running really slowly?
You will have to uninstall every app that has been downloaded and also one by one and then test the tablet in normal mode after each uninstall apps to see if the performance issue has been fixed . If it has then the last remaining app which is uninstalled is the culprit.

I have a Nextbook Ares 10 A. The easiest way is to go to settings click on backup reset. U shud see the option to factory reset. Click it. It will ask if u r sure. Click yes. The device will shut down then a black screen comes up. You control this screen with volume buttons and power button. Using volume button scroll down to factory reset, click power button. It will ask r u sure. Click power button again. The factory reset will start. When it's done the same black screen will pop up. Use power button and click reboot. Ur done. Note:. This will not change the OS u r currently running, just all data, settings, app updates etc. Hope this helps.
