The tapes In my Panasonic PV-GS14 are stuck and won't run

you cannot move the spindles/cogs in a mini dv tape without pressing down a small lever on the rear of the cassette. the lever is in the lower right, move the lever, then move the ribbon protector to the open position, then spin the cogs, the tape should be free. if not, then you have a jamm inside the cassette, you can open these casettes by removing 4 small screws. ( this is a very fiddly job & you may ruin the casette, if you dont know how )

I have a Panasonic palmcorder, vdr-m30-pp, that

that error is to do with the lazer lens that reads the disc, you can try a cleaning disc or using a can of comressed air. it could also be a worn spindle, but that normally makes the mechanism noisy.

How do I fix the tape holder system on my camcorder? The door won't lock, and the cassette won't get inside the compartment.

hi, is it close without a cassette ? if so the reel sensor in the cassette compartment may be faulty. if the head drum not rotates the cassette drive will not work correctly, if so please loosen the head drum with a plastic rod or some tools like that. do not put your finger in hence sometimes will jam your finger. remember don"t touch the scanning chip of the head.

We have all of our kids' videos recorded on this camera. We can play it in the view screen but only the audio will play when we connect it to the TV. Anyone know of a quick fix for this? Thanks.

hi, it seems to be the magnetic head of your camera is either dirty or damaged, if it is dirty please use a head cleaner cassette to clean it, if it is clogged with dirt, clean it manually with some cleaning liquid, use a cotton swab to do this. be careful to avoid damaging the scanning chip on the head drum, don"t put pressure on it.
