Cf-30 disable touchscreen
On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.
That is it. Good Luck to you.

How can I make Panasonic cf-18 laptop faster
Easiest way to make your laptop faster is to turn off all of the programs that are starting from a cold bootup. Clean out the registry of unnecessary items and defrag it as well. And to further speed up your browsing add an ad block to your browser. And tweak your OS to get rid of items not necessary or specific to your needs.

How do I remove HDD from HDD Caddy on Panasonic ToughBook CF-73
The caddy on all Panasonic Toughbooks are
held together by pressure.
I use several paperclips (unfolded) to wedge
between the side of the caddy and the small holes
which are located around the caddy. There are two
along the right side, one in the front and one in the
back and two along the left side.
I usually start with the far left side and work my way
to the back, then to the far right side, slowly prying
with pressure a few millimeters at a time.
Finally I go to the right front, then the front and
at last to the left front, almost in a circle.
It is a little tricky and may require several attempts,
but the caddy will come apart. Please try to remember
how the cable attaches to you can re-attach after
you change the hard drive.
Good Luck

How do i connect cf-30 to tv with hdmi cable
The CF-30 does NOT have an HDMI interface.
The easiest way to hook to TV is by VGA Cable.
Make sure the CF-30 is turned off.
Attach the VGA cable to both the CF-30 and TV.
Power on the TV first.
Then power on the CF-30.
Voila, the video signal should display on the TV.
Make sure "source" on TV is set to PC.

Panasonic cf-74 toughbook cannot load win xp
It sounds to me like you requre Win'XP Service Pack 3.
If you are using Service Pack 2 or earlier, there is no
SATA support which is why the HDD is not recognized.
Get Service Pack 3 and your problems will be solved.

Cf 30
There are a number of "unofficial" service manuals
for various laptops and notebooks including some
Panasonic Toughbook Models located at:
http://www.tim.id.au/blog/tims-laptop-service-manuals/
These manuals are helpful but be careful about ordering
parts from Panasonic based on these manuals.
The parts may be for Toughbooks from another country
and not for North America. Use these manuals only
for reference purposes only.
Good Luck!
