I have a Panasonic PalmCam
Hi,
First of all you will need a USB camera lead, your software and driver CD for the camera.
Pop the CD in the drive and install the software for the camera. Once installed there should be a utility in the software that allows you to transfer the files to your computer. You will need to have the camera connected to the PC via the USB lead.
If you don't have a software CD try to connect the camera to the PC to see if the the PC picks up the storage device on the camera. If it does it will autoplay and a window will open. Select open folder and drag and drop the folder to your desktop.
If you have no USB lead and the videos/photo's are stored on a camera card then i recommend that you purchase a card reader.
Just take the camera card out, put it in the card reader and the plug it directly to the PC. Autoplay will activate so as before choose open folder and drag and drop the file on your desktop.
If you need anymore help please post back.
Good luck.

Drivers to use
If you really want to keep on using this old 640x480 camera, why not look for some cheap old notebook with Win95 installed?

After one minute the LCD screen turns black
No. All Panasonic PalmCam digital cameras have a power down feature to conserve battery power. If there is over one minute of inactivity, the LCD will power down to conserve the battery. Simply hit the shutter button and the LCD will turn on.

Palmcam PV-DC 1000
This is not going to happen.
Everything has moved on since then.
If you have a removable memory card invest in a universal card reader
