Check the power supply. You may find a control voltage is not correct.

Check the power supply for proper voltages

Panasonic flat panel televisions are packaged with a small television stand that users can attach to place the television on a flat surface. Some users, after attaching the stand, would prefer to hang the television on a wall instead. If the stand is still attached to the Panasonic TV, you cannot hang the television on the wall. Remove the stand from the TV to hang it on a wall. Step 1 Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and lay the television, screen down, on a towel. The towel helps prevent damage to the screen. Step 2 Remove the four retaining screws that secure the stand from the bottom of the television using the Phillips screwdriver. Step 3 Slide the stand out of the television. Place the stand and the screws in a safe place in the event you change your mind and decide to set up the television on the stand again. The television is now ready for hanging on a wall.

It is 13 years after the end of production. We didn't have routers then! There is no wifi convertor in your old Panasonic TV. It won't work without a computer interface between the two.

I don't believe the shorted LED diodes would cause your issue. Are you getting the command from the main to turn the power board on when the main voltage (16v) drops?

Yes, you need to find the IR codes for each device or do a manual program for each. Your remote manual will have the instructions as to how to program either way.

Is this a plasma TV?

Question edited for clarity and Bell Fibe (my supplier :>) The DVD is using the screen as a monitor. The Bell Fibe signal uses the television's tuner board. Double check you have the Bell Fibe HDMI cable firmly inserted and also check the Source Button on the Remote. You really need a new one though as technology has moved on with 4K and Smart, Internet connected sets.
