you can turn off the power saving mode by following these steps:

• Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "USB" appears in the display.
• Press OPTIONS.
• Press / > repeatedly until "PWR SAVE" appears, then press ENTER.
• Press / > repeatedly to select "OFF", then press ENTER.

The power saving mode is now turned off and the system will not enter standby mode automatically.

How do you correct err message on one dic on unit

Ugh! It's a bookshelf all in one unit with 3 disc tray at the top, correct? I've never had much success fixing these units, if yours plays one disc you're probably lucky it works at all. I have a sony unit right now that hasn't cooperated much either. If you can locate the service manual for it or a similar unit you might have better luck fixing it than I've had. I usually decide to cut my losses before I get too much time into these if I can. There's a reason why they don't cost much new(compared to high end audio gear at least) & also why you can find them everywhere in non working condition...

question edited for clarity. question moved to MP3 Player category. Connect to a computer using the USB cable. Open Windows File Explorer. In the left pane you will see the MP3 Player as a Device 'volume'. In the right pane, drag the files to a folder somewhere else on the computer in the left pane. You can use CTRL+A for Select All to highlight all the files in the folder.
