Hi when putting my Quinny down I need to push it and then when putting back up I need to pull it up it doesn't come up on its own could you help me x
HiThe first recommendation is that the chassis is given a good clean. A build up of dirt and debris on the chassis would cause friction as the product is trying to fold / unfold and this can cause problems. It is easiest to do with another person to help you. Remove the seat unit and use furniture polish or a dry Teflon spray (found in the laundry aisle of larger supermarkets) and a soft cloth. While one person slowly folds / unfolds the chassis the other person should ensure the chassis is thoroughly cleaned, paying close attention to the central tube where the mechanism slides up and down.If this does not help it would need to be sent to the engineers for inspection and repair work.If you're in the UK and the product is under 2 years old, please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase and they can arrange for it to be sent to our engineers for inspection / repair work required under warranty. If you're in the UK and the product is over 2 years old or you no longer have proof of purchase please contact the customer care team on 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 8.30-6.30 / Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays) to discuss booking it in for chargeable inspection / repair work required. I have a quinny buzz 2005 model have the adapters changed or will the newborn pushchair seat fit this model
HiThe 2005 / 2006 model chassis can be used with an existing style seat unit - you will need a replacement sub seat as well as the fabric to go on it for the child to sit on. The existing fabric is not suitable to fit onto the sub seat (seat frame) that you have with this model.Visit www.quinny.com and select your country, then choose "Contact Us" for your enquiry to be sent to the customer care team for your country who can advise on where to buy and costs.
