According to Funai service literature (parent company of RCA) the 6538 uses panel # HV650QUB-N90 and 6549 uses # LK650RA1A01

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

This set has a block fuse that sits to the right of the power plug. Problem is replacing it won't fix a thing, it will blow the one you put in. this could be a shorted P/S diode, FET, zener diode ect on the hot side of the board or it could be a shorted component on the cold side, that will blow the fuse as well. Buy a new board, don't try to fix it.

Assuming it goes black after using the tv for a few minutes its probably a bad capacitor on the power board inside the Tv but there are a few other things that can cause this but not enough information to determine

Your LED backlights are shutting off, the question is are they shutting off because of burned out buttons and the backlight section in the power board senses that and shuts down or is the signal from the main turning off so the lights go out. Do you have a multimeter and able to take a couple measurements?

Your TV's Component 1 and 2 (and the Composite 1 and 2) RCA ports are video and audio inputs. They do not connect to the sound bar audio input. Other RCA VCRs have had problems with flashing timer lights. Those could be fixed with service from an electronics repair person if it doesn't stop even after being unplugged for a while. But, try leaving it unplugged for a few hours. If that doesn't work, the electronics repair might be the way to go, or get a different VCR on eBay or from the local thrift store for pretty cheap.
