It is probably just a coincidence that you are having a problem with the cleaning system after you changed the heads. Based on your description of the problem, it sounds like there is a clog in the system. Look for any blockages in the openings where the fluid goes into and out of the cleaning cup.

there is probably hair stuck between the cutters remove the cutters from the clipper and you can push the top blade out from under the spring retainer making sure you keep the small plastic runner strip clean the surfaces and using a flat bladed screw drive insert the blade under the spring and twist slightly to allow the top blade to slide back in while it feels sharp , it is the sides of the cutter fingers that cut the hair ( like miniature guillotines) and those edges are easily worn off

It sounds like it may have am internal loose connection or bad battery. You should be able to plug the cord directly into the bottom of the shaver and run directly from the cord if needed

To open the case you will need to pry off the front grip with a small flat screwdriver or similar object. This will reveal screws underneath. Remove the screws to take off the cover.
