Roper dryer don't do anything
-Have you done any electrical repair, or basic electronic...?
-If so. Here some basic to check it out:
**Caution.!!
1. Check power source. Any power..? (Hot to Hot should be 240 V)
(Hot to return line "Neutral should be 102 V)
-Yes, Hot to hot is 240 +/- but hot to neutral 0
-Okay your neutral line has bad connection.
No. there is not power at all.
-The breaker is pop.
-Yes. Then next unplug the main power, open back panel cover
and test all thermal fuses, heater element, door switch , start switch and timer motor in " Ohm" Any reading.
-No one component is not reading. (Okay witch part is not reading
that mean that part is broken. Replace it)

Roper dryer doing nothing at all
check for power first
roper s have a safety---(long white back of dryer near motor side)-- fuse for motor if popped dryer is over heating check you vent-------- restricted

Clicking noise
Genarally a belt will have a thumping noise does it have a slow sounding pattern or a fast one, could be in the drum support system

I have a Roper electric
the thermal fuse is in the back on the dryer you will have to take the back cover off the fuse is white and is a few inchs long it usually only have 1 screw holding it on.
Doesnt dry clothes, every opening i have
Hi, I experienced the same problem with my Maytag electric dryer. I finally fixed the problem after I checked the actual vent pipe (which allows air to discharge to the outside of your home). What I found was quite surprising. I found was a mouse nesyt in this pipe. Once I removed the mouse next,m my electric dryer worked fine. Just a thought. Good Luck!
