How to repairleak on rowenta superpress 050 I use spring water
probably can't fix
if you take it to an appliance repair ship for a quote , it will probably cost more than a new one
Spring water is very high in mineral content and that would cause the leak
best use DE-mineralized water as that is just pure water and is what is recommended for irons
Not steaming
Hi, it sounds like the steam trigger has a broken pin on the end inside the handle. Unplug the unit from the wall and let it cool. I found out that you can remove the main rubber cover by gently prying it up from the front and pivoting it up to the cord end and lifting it off. You will see the trigger snaps in, but look at the finger end going under the microswitch that activates the "Burst of Steam"...it is probably broken. You can get another one from California Electric Service in Concord CA; or you can epoxy a small 3/4" by 1/8" x 1/16" piece of aluminum, bent at 45 degs into trigger hollow, approx 1/4" sticking out to actuate the micro-switch and after a day or two for the epoxy to harden it should work just fine.
Clothes steamer won't steam home touch
The steam not only removes wrinkles, it freshens the fabrics - making them look cleaner. You can use this steamer on clothing, bedding and table linens and also to remove.

Why do water drops form om my clothes while steaming
You have a build up of water In the hose. Sometimes happens because the hose is too low to the ground. Try stretching the hose up and tap it and the water should travel back down the hose. Another reason could be that you are using too much steam for that particular fabric.
