What's the difference between burning a cd and burning an image
Burning an image file (ISO) means that you will burn and finalize the disc. The ISO file includes a "boot sector". This will create a disc that can be used as a boot CD. Make sure that the ISO is <700 MB if you burn to CD; if it is larger, use a DVD or DVD DL. Some image files may have an IMG file type (this was the file type for bootable floppies). Unless the file is an ISO or IMG, the burn image function will not work. You will need to use another program to make an image file first. You may need to use a bootable disc to get the information for the boot sector.Burning a CD creates a data CD which may or may not be finalized, depending on your settings. I hope this helps.
