You have to 'manually' prime the pump: When the red exclamation mark shows, press the water switch on the right side (the picture of the water drip), then open up the steam nozzle and let the machine pump hot water into a cup until the red light goes out.

When the red exclamation point is flashing slow, something is not where it is supposed to be, bean hopper lid, door, brew mech, water tank empty, dregs box or water tray on dregs container is full. If the red exclamation point is flashing quickly, open the steam valve for pump priming. If pump turns on, and water passes correctly, the light should go off and return to heating stage. If not, we have a blockage or a pump that is not working correctly.

I did this twice, kind of a kick start to the grinder. it will dislodge whatever is blocking it and BAM, complete.The pump will not work if the grinder is not spinning to brew a coffee. so you have to jumpstart the grinder, grind the beans, tamp it and then the pump runs water through it.

The only thing I can think of is the reed switch on the back of the panel that checks the water level. If there is a float in the water tank check what level it is when it calls for refill, it might be in backwards, or the magnet has moved.

There are different possibilities for your problem. First the motor might be damaged and is more weak than before that is why is stop when it need to grind beans. In this case only with replacement motor can solve the problem. Second probably due to long use of oily coffee or low quality coffee beans or other reason there are coffee grounded in the grinder that become like rubber and does not leave the new coffee to pass through grinding burrs. There are multiple models that are listed as Odea Go series. Unfortunately the espresso community does not speak highly of these machines because of the low quality parts and assembly processes. The manufacturer for this unit has changed several times.
