Here is what the Samsung websites says:
MMCplus(up to 2GB guaranteed 4bit 20MHz);
SD (up to 4GB guaranteed);
SDHC (up to 8GB guaranteed);
So it is OK to use a 4GB SDHC memory card in your
samsung sl310w.

Samsung doesn't offer official downloads assuming that your camera will plug&play on the computer automattically.

My SL420 won't power up.
Time for a new camera as this will be more expensive to fix than its worth.
had a quick look on ebay and they are about $80 new so shout yourself an upgrade.
I bought a Samsung camera like this for $5 for parts last year and spent more than 2 hours fixing another 1.

Your only redress is to return it in person to the store from which you bought it and explain the situation to the clerk there.

Contact Samsung online through customer support and technical support to see if you can purchase a disc or download the files. ebay has a vast amount of hardware and software, worth a shot.
