Why does TV not come on After previously watching it. It appears that after a long delay that I found sometimes the TV will come on can you advise me of the fault and what's required to remedy it.

It sounds like your tele maybe in store demo mode..To remedy this press the side button for volume up & whilst the volume up is displayed on the screen press & hold menu...On screen should be either Store/Shop mode Or Home/Standard mode select your preference & it should be ok.Good luck.

Samsung tv ln46a500t1fxza A VOLUME AND CHANNEL CHANGE BY ITSELF

Try a reset first. If it do not help you, replace the main digital board. It is faulty. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

I HAVE A LN-S4095D TV THAT WAS WALL MOUNTED NOW I WANT TO GET A STAND THAT WOULD SUPPORT THE TV ON A TABLE. I DISCARDED THE ORIGNAL STAND WHEN WE WALL MOOUNTED THE TV

Good luck with that. As soon as these sets go out of production, so do most of the parts associated with them. You would be better served to get a TV table stand that uses a wall-mount-style backer. That way you get the tabletop mount and the extra security of knowing it won't get knocked over easily. Something like this.... 26256390-2znsh5lhdqni53gzratepk1w-3-0.jpg

Need to fined/know the name brand remote control or code number for my LCD TV

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

TV was hit with a lightning surge; won't turn on.

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Samsung 46" lcd tv changed t-con brd 5-mnths ago worked fine. started showing up/dwn pixel lines the went white. sound is great pic is white. what board would I chang now? mdl:ln46a530p1f

It sounds like your T-Con board went out again. You might re-seat your ribbon cables just in case you didn;t get them in good from the last repair. If that doesn't help I would say that your T-con board went out again.
