First check your TV setup menu to see if your TV audio preferences are set to PC audio. That is a setting that sends audio out through your PC cables instead of the TV speakers. It may also have been set to mute through a remote.

Well, it has a bad T-con board. You'll have to pay for the part, but you can fix it yourself. The board can be replaced easily. The T-Con board is usually near the center of the screen when you have the back removed. Just look at the ***** holes with arrows pointing to them and take out only those screws. Once the back is off, you'll see a board under a metal cover(not always) The board has flat wide ribbon cables that go to the bottom of the screen. Hi is your television running through a foxtel box or something else that has volume control, If so you might have one or the other turned all the way down, turn both volumes up and control every thing through one remote control.....

will be some sort of error code, depending on number or timing of flashes will relate to different fault codes. search fault codes or manual for your TV to find out whats wrong with it or take to repair shop.
