My Airdyne AD-6 crank arms are ~45* apart, not 180* Can they be adjusted?
It is possible that the crank arms are not seated correctly on the bottom bracket spindle, causing them to be misaligned. Try removing the crank arms and re-installing them, making sure that they are properly aligned with each other and with the bottom bracket spindle. If that doesn't work, there may be an issue with the bottom bracket itself, in which case it may need to be replaced. You can also check the manual for your Airdyne AD-6 to see if there are any specific instructions for adjusting the crank arms.
Schwinn elliptical 411. which wires go to the power inlet contacts.
It's important to ensure that you connect the pink and purple wires correctly to the power inlet contacts on your Schwinn Elliptical 411. Here is how you can determine which wires go to the contacts:
- Look for markings on the power inlet and wires: The power inlet may have markings or labels indicating which wire goes to which contact. The pink and purple wires may also have some markings or labels on them.
- Check the user manual: The user manual for the Schwinn Elliptical 411 may have a wiring diagram that shows the correct connections for the power inlet and wires.
- Use a multimeter: If you are not able to determine the correct connections using the first two methods, you can use a multimeter to test the wires. Set the multimeter to measure resistance and touch the probes to the ends of the pink and purple wires. If the multimeter reading is close to zero, it means the wires are connected correctly. If the reading is very high or infinity, it means the wires are not connected correctly.
Once you have determined which wire goes to which contact, you can solder them together to reattach the power inlet. Make sure the solder joints are strong and secure, and use heat shrink tubing or electrical tape to insulate the connections.
Model SRB-1800. Why is it indicating error code 1?
That error code is for the speed sensor. There is some kind of issue with it, it may be loose or misaligned, the magnet on the fly wheel may also be. Or the sensor may have failed entirely. You may check the sensor and the magnet but that will depend on your comfort level in taking the unit apart to get to the issue.
