Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Cable channels wont program above 27 w my basic cable

Hi classmom2,
I will be happy to help.
You have probably tried this but I will go over it anyway. If it dosn't work we will try something else.
From the video menu on the tv, select the tuning band of CABLE not AIR. Then do a Auto-Channel Search.
From what I gather you have basic cable without a cable box correct?
Let me know what you find and we will go from there.

I have a blue K on my screen and the vol can be just 0,30,60

Try to reset the TV. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done

Hooked up to antenna did channel scan in air mode not getting any channels. Hooked up a Vizio tv to same antenna line and got all the locals. Maybe something wrong with the Sharp?

Make sure that Sharpe is set to over the air/antenna and not cable. There are more than one scan modes. http://files.sharpusa.com/Downloads/ForHome/HomeEntertainment/LCDTVs/Manuals/tel_man_LC42_46_52D65U.pdf See page 14 in the link. It is easy to mis-configure the setup to not receive the over the air digital channels. The input must be set to digital and air in setup. The VHF are no longer available. Hope this helps?

My TV won't power on at all. No light on front panel when cord plugged in. What do I need to check?

Main power supply regulator section faulty. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
