This sounds like a power board issue, if you unhook all boards and power the power supply up does your standby voltage seem steady?

Sounds like you got a bad replacement power board, hopefully it didn't come from ebay as that isn't the best place to buy TV parts

What I did was unplug it for a few months when that started happening to me. When I plugged it back in it worked great. There are also a few things on the internet on how to fix that.

You've lost video, I'd start by replacing the tcon board

Hi Bruce, don't replace boards without knowing what board is bad, power the set up and test the various power board output rails after it's shut down, if all look ok most likely it's your main that's bad if one or more aren't correct according to the legion on the board it's the power supply.

Pull the wall plug out of the socket and it will go off.

I just received information from Sharp that they will be offering firmware upodates and Codecs ( small program ) toi fix this problem It is a change in the Blu ray technology that has caused these movies to require a different set of parameters. It will be available for download you burn it on a CD and run it in the unit and it will then fix itself.

the TV's screen is blue is due to and also caused by the source or the input device that has not been set up in the correct mode. Check to make sure that the video source to your TV cable and satellite box and streaming device or antenna is on and your cables are connected in properly.

The 2 slow one long blink code for Sharp/Element TV's is backlight inverter over current/voltage shut down and not a board issue. Replace the backlights and the set should work like new

No, you just told the television to format the USB into its own formatting format. It doesn't back it up for you. You should have purposely made a back up of everything on the USB memory stick to your computer. If you haven't done that, you can put the USB stick into the computer and use 'Undelete' software.
