I know when my zeki stopped working I saw that there was a place on the side to reset you push it in with a paperclip just for a few seconds and this reset the zeki, other than taking it in a repair shop and having the whole thing set back to when you 1st purchased it. I hope this helps

How to reset a zeki tablet
i have had the problem with my screen freezing.. well after a couple frustrating hours of me thinking my 7" zeki tablet was broken i finally tried holding the power button and the positive and the negative volume button down together till the tablet shut off. it didn't give me the option to cancel which was different from the holding the power button down till it shut off.(which didnt work for me). after i reset it my tablet was still running slow which is what made it freeze up so i deleted the last couple apps i downloaded. my tablet speed is back to normal so now i transferred some off my memory/apps to my sim card to free the space back up so i dont over run my tab!!!!!

Hi Jade,
The possible solution is effective but possibly dangerous. Download the Rooting tools for your exact phone and install the root software. Once you do so, turning your phone on with a certain button-press combination will reveal a password reset option. Unfortunately, it takes some searching to find the exact root tools for your particular tablet and messing up in any way can brick your device.
Good luck!

My tablet won't reset. how can i make it reset?
You could try a factory reset which will wipe your tablet so that it is 'like new'. You will however lose all your data so I recommend doing a full backup before factory resetting. There is also the possibility that a recently installed application may be causing the problem. If you can get the tablet to run stably, try to individually uninstall programs (preferably in the reverse order you installed them) until the problem stops. Once the problem stops, you know that the last uninstalled application was causing the problem. If you've tried these and it's still not working, take it back to the place of purchase or email the manufacturer and ask for help.
